Environment & Quality
Environment & Quality
At FläktComp, we only work with partners who work purposefully with quality, safety and sustainability.
Our manufacturing partners are certified according to applicable standards, e.g. is our partner Witt&Sohn Gmbh certified within ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
All of our partners have ongoing quality and environmental work. Together with them, we also ensure that the products we provide are correctly certified, regardless of whether it concerns ATEX or specially ordered material certificates.
This is especially important for e.g. fire gas fans (F200, F300 etc.) where the fan must function and perform in the event of a fire.
Quality
In our role as a fan supplier, we have a responsibility towards our customers to ensure that the quality of the products we provide stands for what they promise.
Therefore, we work closely with our partners and make continuous reconciliations regarding quality, development and material handling.
With FläktComp, you as a customer can feel secure that this is followed up on an ongoing basis.
As part of our quality control, e.g. all fans from the Witt group before delivery.
We also offer performance testing according to applicable ISO standards in our lab.
Environment and Sustainability
In our role as fan supplier, we bear a responsibility and have the opportunity to influence and contribute to a more sustainable society.
We comply with current environmental legislation and strive to constantly develop and exceed these.
Based on the UN’s sustainability goals, we at FläktComp have selected 3 sustainability goals that we put extra focus on.
Reduced resource consumption
What
Our planet has an abundance of natural resources. But they have not been used in a responsible way and we currently consume more than the planet capable of.
How
We strive to contribute to a sustainable use of resources by supplying fans with long life and good opportunities for material recycling.
Energy efficiency
What
Fans alone account for about 22% of the world’s energy use, or 8% of the world’s total electricity consumption.
How
We strive to minimize energy consumption by choosing fans and motors with high efficiency and have unplanned downtime.
Working life
What
Sustainability is also about local challenges such as employee well-being. We think this is particularly important in today’s working life climate.
How
By advocating and encouraging movement and work-life balance, we strive towards well-being employees, who get involved in our customers’ challenges.
